Every year the Marketing Sherpa group publishes a marketing tips .pdf for the entire year. The tips come from actual readers of their website and most are marketing professionals; I find it a very good article to go over mainly because it is not ideas, theories, or someone’s opinion with no backing; rather it is a compilation of 100+ comments from marketing professionals who have specific examples, statistics, data, etc. of the greatest marketing tip they could give someone that year. It is also a good document to review marketing trends for the year.
Common themes this year were simple ideas pay off, emergence of social networking, and don’t lose the personal touch. It is about 60 pages long and good reading for anyone with a few minutes.
Excellent real world tips in there. Thanks for the link. I came up with 10 good strategies to employ – some of which can be started today. It’s rare when you get true tips that aren’t just platitudes and theories but something you can “physically” do.
