The key points to undertand from this chart is that there are really only three major search engines out there providing results ‘from scratch’ via their own internal search engine algorithims. These three players are Google, Yahoo, and MSN. It is also important to note that Google feeds results to most other minor search engines. With Yahoo providing results to alltheweb and altavista. MSN only provides results to hotbot which also gets search engine data from Google.
