PPC in the news on NPR. A decent piece on the basics of using Google Adwords. Hopefully this will drive more and more advertisers to PPC and SEO. Maybe this is why some SEOs are seeing the growth of their businesses while traditional advertisers are hurting?

I have done a lot of different advertising over the years from telemarketing, to direct mail, to radio, and newspapers. I’ve seen enough success just done some basic SEO stuff with my current project along with selling on ebay I’m pretty sure that I’ll never go back to ‘old line’ advertising again. It seems like that kind of advertising is just pouring money down the drain. You could spend thousands of dollars on a radio campaign and maybe just get a handful of phone calls.
So, unless something changes, I think search marketing is where it is at.
