Google Wants To Read Your Spam

Google has a new popup in their web based email asking if they can look at your spam.

Google recently added a box to gmail accounts asking if they can read your spam. There is speculation as to why they want to do this, and I suppose it is good they are asking, but how many people really care who reads their spam anyway?
