now you will have too score 85% at least to clear the exam. and you have too pay 50$ for every attempted. 120 questions and you get 2hrs to complete it.its not just fair.

Practice all of the questions in the Adwords learning center here . You should be ok.

@Rob,

Even though your comment is a bit old, I just wanted to address it quickly. The reason why you should take it frankly is the badge. After you pass it, future clients can have the assurance you’re not 100% unfamiliar with adwords. Obviously, you could be an adwords whiz and not even have the certification, but since the exam is getting harder over time & the required passing % is increasing, it just shows that people who are passing are at least somewhat competent when it comes to adwords.

I’d have to agree it’s not perfect in terms of what it provides, but honestly, neither are most educational programs throughout the world. Frankly, there’s not a single respected marketing program in the “top” graduate business programs that take SEO seriously (or PPC or social). Nevertheless, there should be benefit in getting this. And hats off to you Eric for doing it at least a year earlier than I plan on doing it. Studying for it now. Seems basic enough, but still need to cover those “weak spots” which we don’t care about usually.
